LDAP Accounts
LDAP is the protocol used by our servers to authenticate our users.
LDAP accounts are used as authentication for the following services at SLUH:
- Gmail
- Canvas
- GLPI (Help Desk) login
- PowerSchool
- Student computer logon (faculty/students)
- Wireless network access
- VPN access (faculty only)
You may reset your LDAP network password by following the directions listed at http://support.sluh.org/changepassword
Faculty have a password to login their local laptop account that is separate from their LDAP network password. It can be reset by launching "System Preferences" and clicking "Accounts". Click "change password". This password is used to log into the machine, install software and run software updates.
